First entire journey around the sun.

I haven't written in a while. Benjamin has just crossed his first birthday. It was a magical moment. I'm continuing an increasing effort to make sure I spend as much time as possible with him. I'm lucky to have someone like Roberta that we can count on for being such a focused and loving mother, while supportive and loving to me.

All of these firsts are so fun. He ate his first orange and green melon pieces today at a restaurant in Silverlake. The staff was so friendly to him. They gave him the fruit free and unrequested. It really is wild the amount of gravity or attraction he has. It will be important for him to have courage to accept the good influences and deflect negative intentions down the road.

We're having a party for him next weekend. I'm very excited, it's going to be so much fun!

We started making this sound which is like a screaching dragon back and forth to each other. He seems to be having fun with it. That's cool. I feel connected. I wonder if he's a green or red dragon? (His favorite color is red (so far)).. Guess what mine is.

He'll be attending the family reunion this year for the first time. How exciting!

Fire!

Southern CA is getting pounded with fires, but we're glad to see everyone is coming together and it looks like the feds learned something from Katrina. We're safe in the city, but alot of our friends have been displaced from their homes. We hope to offer support in any way we can. Benjamin is ready to go out and help fight the fires! Jasper is already flying water dropping jumbo jets. We're lucky to just keep the windows closed and the filtered a/c running for clean air. Our hearts and thoughts go out to the millions of people so much more affected.

All Smiles!

Learning about the world for the first time must be a fantastic experience, because Benjamin wears a huge smile so much of the time. He reminds us to travel, explore, and discover new things every day. He and Roberta have been discussing the horrors and atrocities being committed against mankind by being strapped into his car seat. She's not listening to him, and continues to restrain him in that gray and black plastic chariot. Bursts of poo usually are the reaction, followed by a clever grin when Mom realises.

New Photo Album!

There's a new photo album of Benjamin, and it's right here!

We're also going to give Google's "Picasa" Album a try because it's easy to upload, and easy for people to buy prints and stuff too. Let Benjamin know if you like this blog or the yahoo blogs better!

Click Below for the album!

New Blog Site

Didn't like the Yahoo360 Blogging software, so Benjamin suggested we use Blogger! We're gonna give it a try!
